Prepared for what's to come. To be betrayed, and disappointed, to deal with the egos and demons of others, navigating day-to-day, showing empathy to the nuances of the human condition. I feel another level is approaching, and what I create going forward will reach new peaks, allowing different scopes for deeper valleys, but I will always be grounded. I will always stay true. Even though I represent a slight speck in the grand scheme, I hope to continue to live and carry myself in a meaningful way. The work, the process, the service I do to become the man I want to be is all that matters. As I continue to perfect this game, my hope is for the music to become less about me and more about you. Whatever path you choose in life, I hope it brings you clarity and longevity. In chasing your dreams, I hope no vision is lost. It’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of the life you’ve envisioned for yourself. But in this one life we have, it would truly be a shame to come so far, only to realize you might have gone the wrong way. They say there are two tragedies in life: not getting what you want—and getting it. My hope for you is that, along the way, you find not just success, but meaning. Because that, above all else, holds incredible value. - Your Lousy King
