🎵 Sword For Hire — the solo project of Scott Templeman, DMV-based, powered by too much caffeine and a background in storytelling. Winner of the inaugural Future Sound Award, judged by an industry panel, for the R&B track "Sweetest Illusion." I make songs the way some people make questionable decisions at 2 a.m.—fast, emotional, and with no regard for genre boundaries. One week it's an R&B slow jam, the next it's a cyber-socca energy chant, then suddenly a country EDM sprint anthem. I'm not big on staying in a lane. I write the lyrics, direct every session, and mix and master the results.
