Mic Mash

Mic Mash is a genre-blending artist from Malawi, known for fusing rap, melody, Afro-influences, trap, and drill into a sound that balances emotional depth with high-energy expression. Inspired by Juice WRLD and XXXTENTACION, his music explores mental health, love, anxiety, faith, and self-discovery—resonating with a new generation. Starting his journey at age 8, Mic Mash has evolved into a multifaceted creative—artist, entrepreneur, photographer, videographer, and medical scientist. He is the founder of Broken Crayons, a movement promoting mental wellness through art, music, and community impact, including events and university tuition support. In 2023, he released his debut project AKUZIKE, amassing over 856,000 Spotify streams, with the title track standing out as a fan favorite. He followed with To The Moon and Back (2025), featuring the hit single Mtima, further showcasing his versatility. He has shared stages with leading African acts, opening at Gwamba Show 2024 alongside Uncle Waffles and Kamo Mphela, and performing at a Gwamba-hosted show featuring Nasty C. His collaborations include Gwamba, Tay Grin, Praise Umali, Temwah, and Hyphen. Guided by the symbolism of 999, he is currently working on a joint project with Quest MW, set for release on June 23, 2026, continuing his mission to inspire and empower through music.
