Shipping Forecast

Shipping Forecast is a British based indie/alternative band with one aim, to speak the truth. Shipping Forecast was formed in early 2023. The idea, to create a safe space to release the music of my heart. Gone was the pressure to be cool, gone was the need to feel relevant, instead, the desire to be true shone through. This quickly snowballed into the plan to release new music every 4 to 6 weeks. With influence from the indie folk scene such as Paper Kites and Ben Howard, and Ben's love for ambient music, Shipping Forecast has carved out a truly unique electro/acoustic sound. Shipping Forecast is a one man project (Benjamin Clare) , with a little/lot of help from his crazy talented (backing vocalist/ photographer/ videographer/ emotional-support unit) girlfriend Imogen Allen. We hope you enjoy our music, it's a lot of work doing it on your own, but we wouldn’t change it for the world, all we’d ask is you join us on our journey. Our debut album Ostara is currently available on Vinyl and CD from Elastic Stage.Com, Picadilly Records (Manchester, Vod Music (Mold), Jumbo Records (Leeds) and Normans Music (Leeds)
