Biography & Metadata

Inspired by his Newcastle roots, Schak’s music reflects the energetic Northeast Makina subculture, blending happy hardcore, scouse house, donk, and rapid-fire MC-ing. His music serves as a cathartic outlet for ravers and fosters a deep sense of community. In 2023, Schak signed with Ministry of Sound after releasing 'Moving All Around (Jumpin’) feat. Kim English' on Patrick Topping’s label 'Trick'. This release brought him into the limelight, especially in Newcastle, leading to significant milestones like performing at halftime during Newcastle’s match against Southampton in the Carabao Cup at St James Park. 'Moving All Around (Jumpin’)' has amassed 33 million streams worldwide and peaked at #46 on the UK singles chart. In 2024, Schak released 'Yesterday' with Will Atkinson, featuring Abi Flynn on Armada, which was named “Hottest Record” by Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Party Show. They hosted a pop-up rave at Greggs in Newcastle, gaining nationwide recognition from Greg James on BBC Radio 1 and coverage by major outlets like the Daily Mail and Mirror. Continuing his rise, Schak toured the US, performing in LA, Denver, and Chicago, and has a busy summer lined up with dates in Greece and Mallorca, plus performances at Radio 1 Dance Ibiza and festivals like Forbidden Forest and Loosefest.
