Biography & Metadata
Wild the Coyote is the dark voice of outlaw music, forging a new musical genre with deep roots in country, blues, and rock and roll. The Los Angeles-based storyteller released his debut album, The Phantom and the Black Crow, which reached over 255,000 streams across 70 countries in 2019. In 2020 we can expect the drop of his sophomore album, The Hollow Beyond the Thicket. Coyote is a three-time returning performer at Slumfest, the Nashville music festival produced by Interscope rap artist Yelawolf. In fall of 2019, Coyote opened for Yelawolf's GhettoCowboy North America tour, hitting stages across the US and Canada. Wild the Coyote’s first solo tour in 2018 brought him to stages nationwide, ending at the Harley Davidson Museum as the headliner for Harley’s world-renown moto show "Mama Tried." Wild the Coyote can now be heard on TV and film; his top records including “Old Man” and “Reaper” have been featured in Paramount Picture’s newest hit TV show Yellowstone, featuring Kevin Costner. Following this collaboration, Coyote was recognized in an August 2019 issue of Rolling Stone magazine for exhibiting an “elegant mashup of country, metal, and even rap.”
