Aver Ray

Billy Ray Schlag, professionally known as Aver Ray, is a German-born producer, songwriter, composer, and musical director based in Los Angeles, California. His credits include collaborations with Ye, Daniel Caesar, ROSALÍA, Masego, JPEGMAFIA, Samara Cyn, Chief Keef, and many others. As a composer, he has scored dozens of commercials for global brands including Apple, Formula 1, BMW, Mercedes and Audi. He is currently touring as Musical Director alongside his wife and longtime creative collaborator, Tiana Kruškić. Beyond his work in music, Billy is the co-founder of the anti-racist nonprofit If a Bird e.V., which empowers marginalized young people around the world through music, education, and community-driven initiatives.
