Biography & Metadata

Club Danger is an electrifying alt-rock/pop duo consisting of producer/vocalist Riley Friesen (Jen Ledger of Skillet, Stephen Christian of Anberlin) and songwriter/instrumentalist Derek Mount (Family Force 5, Brique a Braq). The inventive pair combines fuzzy guitar lines with contagious harmonies to create an aggressive, deceptively dancey sound. Early Club Danger releases have quickly earned tens of millions of YouTube/Spotify streams; plenty of placements (Fox, ESPN, MTV, FIFA, ABC, the CW, Netflix, etc.), and invitations to perform at several coveted opportunities, including the Nashville Film Festival and the Loser Tour (with Sam Tinnesz and Bryce Fox). Riley and Derek previously joined forces on custom pieces for feature films (Disney, Lionsgate) and numerous records for major labels (Warner Bros., Atlantic Records), topping Billboard charts with eight number-one hits and fifteen top-ten songs. The prolific duo hits hard, with future forward soundtracks that proudly accept the best elements of overdriven rock, catchy pop, and dark dance music.
