Mootugal

After listening to Blonde by Frank Ocean in early January, 2017 at just 5 years old with his dad, Mootugal (also known as Max Martinez), started his artist career around mid 2023 which is around 4 years after his actual dad passed away. Being born around November 27th 2011, Max has always been into music more than anything. In early October, 2024, Max would release a cover of a song by mistifulplays, which became his first most popular song before For Once In My Life, reaching 253,000 listens. Around a year later, Max would release DONT CRY or now known as Never Can Say Goodbye which interpolates a Frank Ocean song called Close To You. A few weeks later, Max released ITS YOUR TIME, reaching around 11,000 listens in early 2026 alongside the release of For Once In My Life which reached 30-40,000 listens on the first 2 weeks. As of today, Max still has some upcoming projects even after releasing SOLITUDE and the deluxe version with POV Pluto and ¥$$€. On SOLITUDE, Max did in fact recorded vocals for the song “THIRSTY” which also interpolates Third Coast by Teezo Touchdown. Around September, Max would release “looking for my home” which was created originally in mid 2025 being later sent to Max to finish and release himself, his vocals and rock/electronic inspired production doesn’t get more dreamier than other underground artists.
