Chrome Waves

Chrome Waves is a UK-based boom bap producer inspired by the raw sound of 90s hip hop. Drawing influence from artists such as Black Moon, EPMD and Mobb Deep, his production is built on dusty samples, hard drums and dark, atmospheric loops. Known for layering multiple vinyl samples to create textured, gritty beats, Chrome Waves stays true to the foundations of boom bap while carving out his own sound. His work has featured collaborations with respected emcees including Nine, A-F-R-O, Wordsworth, Nowaah The Flood , 60 East, Freddie Black & Gibby Stites. Focused on authenticity rather than trends, Chrome Waves continues to create music rooted in the spirit of underground hip hop.
