Biography & Metadata
Make Friends are a Bristol four-piece making rhythm-led indie pop with roots in the angular energy of early Foals and the melodic instinct of Bombay Bicycle Club. Since forming, the band have released three EPs and a run of singles, with fan favourite “Ellie” passing 2.5 million Spotify streams. Along the way they’ve picked up support from BBC Introducing, Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X, as well as recording a live session at Maida Vale. In recent years, Make Friends have built a close creative partnership with Ed Nash of Bombay Bicycle Club, who co-writes and produces much of their newer material. Their latest single, “Magic For Peasants”, marks the start of a new run of music ahead of a UK headline tour in November 2026 and plans for their debut album in 2027.
