Catalysis

Catalysis is a Scottish Metal band, formed in late 2016. To date, they have released 6 EPs and 2 full lengths, as well as working tirelessly to establish themselves as a band at the forefront of the UKs underground metal scene - with this effort earning them slots alongside acts such as Avatar, Sacred Reich, Warbringer, Raging Speedhorn, Lost Society and more, as well as appearances at festivals throughout the UK and Europe - including Bloodstock Open Air, Anvinium Metal Fest, Aggressive Music Festival and more. The band also won the 'Best Metal' award at the 2022 Scottish Alternative Music Awards. In 2026, Catalysis released their 6th EP, 'Serpentine' to critical praise - with GBHBL stating the EP is "Guaranteed to make fans of heavy music froth at the mouth, a tight showcase of their immense power, Serpentine is another top shelf release from a band everyone needs to be paying so much more attention to" 2026 sees the band embark on an exciting live schedule, with appearances at Call of The Wild, Hammerdown, SlayFest and Northants Rocks, as well as a string of Spanish dates.
