Well, howdy! Thanks for stopping by to take a listen to my music. I am a Kentucky native who has claimed my place on the white sands of Venice, Florida. After doing years of community theatre and just as many years of open mic’s, I started to write songs seriously. But I was never more inspired to write until after I started to attend the statewide folk festivals here in Florida. I can’t recall the numerous times I spent around a campfire swapping songs and listening to the tales of the old timers. As far as songs go I’ve had two songs included on two Florida Folk compilation CD’s, and one compilation on sale at the Barberville Settlement in Barberville Florida. I’ve had six songs recorded by seven Florida Folk artists and have three CD’s to my name. Turn Back Time is a project that I have just finished after three years of research. Turn Back Time is a multi-media presentation where I my original songs are synchronized with slides to tell stories of old Florida. I have performed at the Florida Folk Festival, Will McLean Folk Festival, Lake County Folk Festival, The Barberville Fall Folk & Arts Festival, Civilian Conservation Corp Festival, Lemon Bay Pioneer Days, and the Barberville Spring Frolic. “Acoustic Waves” is a radio show that I produce on WSLR lpfm 96.5 in Sarasota.
