Biography & Metadata

Drexler (Adrian Leung) is a UK based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Australia/Hong Kong. With a background in classical music coupled with an ear for contemporary sounds, Drexler crafts his music in a modern cinematic style that is raw, earnest and textured.
His first release 'The Confluence', was a solo piano EP that stripped the instrument back to its most raw and intimate tone. His debut feature length album, 'Handles' was released in July 2020. Combining pianos, strings, ambient electronics and field recordings, the album looks at themes of new beginnings, rebirth and light striving in darkness. He has since had airplay on NTS, BBC Sounds, JJJ, KEXP and Soho Radio. He has also released a bunch of collaborations, reworks and remixes. His next album 'Olympia-5' will be released in February 2026. Written as a response to his father relapsing with lymphoma in Sydney, Drexler decided to send over lots of improvised piano pieces to add some warmth to his father's hospital and to let him know he was there for him. The singles have already had support from BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 6, KEXP, Fbi Radio, The List and BBC Sounds.
