Deniz Cuylan

Composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist Deniz Cuylan has been writing and recording music for more than 20 years. He's agnostic of genre; his myriad projects range from progressive jazz to indie electronica to orchestral compositions for award winning films and popular Netflix series. He's a true citizen of the world, he grew up in Istanbul, schooled at the French Lycée Saint Joseph, toured Europe with his projects and as a US citizen, splits time between New York and Los Angeles. His first solo album, 2021's No Such Thing as Free Will, was comprised almost entirely of classical guitar. He expanded his palette with 2022's Rings of Juniper, adding piano and strings to his luxurious arrangements. For Luca is his third album released on Seattle-based ambient/experimental label Hush Hush Records. The collaborators on this album include Felbm, Peni Candra Rini, Thor Harris, Makoto Kubota, Berke Can Özcan, Sarah La Puerta, Six Missing, Casper Clausen, Greg Chudzik.
