RevengeinKyoto, South Carolina's very own, is on a mission to bring back authenticity and vulnerability to music. Not afraid to push musical boundaries, RevengeinKyoto showcases a wide range of alternative rock and progressive metal, other times bringing back the nostalgic myspace metalcore/post hardcore wave with a modern twist, and even experimenting with ambient textures and unorthodox structures of songwriting. You combine that with a certain heaviness of emotional storytelling, it's no wonder RevengeinKyoto is starting to make waves around the scene. Formed in 2023 by founding member Zeke Case, RevengeinKyoto has hit the ground running, releasing two breakout singles in its first year with the crazed love anthem My Favorite Color is You featuring Brayden Gibbs, and heartbreaking release of Falling Through Petals. With an ever-growing fanbase, the band has continued to show its supporters the music is for them. 2024 found even more success for RevengeinKyoto, as they released a split ep with msliterate called Angelus Mortis, finding more and more people who find a sense of comfort and belonging with the band, thus earning RevengeinKyoto 3.34 million streams in its second year. Now in 2025, finishing up their debut album, and getting ready to grind out shows after shows in the future, the sky is the limit for RevengeinKyoto.
