Biography & Metadata
EmmaOMG (Emmanuel Edunjobi) is a Nigerian gospel music minister, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader known for his Yoruba praise medleys and fusion of traditional African rhythms with contemporary gospel music. His musical journey began in a church choir at age eight. His recordings include the Yoruba Hymns projects, “Oba Ni Jesu,” “E ti Tobi to” and “Ko'rin Iyin,” with collaborations featuring Mike Abdul, Nosa, Buchi, BBO and Mabel Omajuwa. In 2019, he founded The OhEmGee Band and launched OhEmGee Faaji, a live praise experience that has grown from Nigeria to the UK and Canada. Inspired by what he believes was the leading of the Holy Spirit, he founded The OhEmGee Choir in 2024, bringing together an initial 50–60 voices, now approaching 100, to create a rich choral sound. Together, the band and choir reflect his vision of millions worldwide singing Yoruba songs of praise to God. Away from the spotlight, Emmanuel is a devoted husband and proud father. EmmaOMG attributes every achievement and opportunity to God's grace and faithfulness. He is committed to glorifying Jesus Christ while celebrating Yoruba musical heritage and uniting people in faith, worship and joyful praise. His message remains: God is completely good.
