Biography & Metadata
Ibrahim Garza writes music for the hour after midnight. A poet first, he builds his songs from the same material that fed the gothic tradition: candlelit verse, old legends, and the creatures that live at the edge of belief. His work draws on supernatural lore and the long shadow of gothic literature. Vampires, ghosts, curses, and lost souls move through his lyrics, not as costumes but as ways of talking about desire, grief, and the parts of ourselves we keep in the dark. He comes from the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, a borderland with its own deep well of folklore, where stories of things that walk at night are still told around the kitchen table. That heritage runs underneath everything he writes.
