Beleaf, otherwise known as Beleaf Melanin, Glen Henry, or simply as “Dad” to his four children, is a YouTuber and musician who draws inspiration from what he considers to be his most important role; Fatherhood. His style is a merge between golden era boom bap and new school flows. His music is inspired by Black Thought, Royce Da 59, SABA, and Black Milk to name a few. He rhymes well over melodic beats by his friends, Produced by 1995, JRuckers, and Obed Padilla. His YouTube channel, Beleaf in Fatherhood, which he founded in 2015, is where he documents his adventures in fatherhood to be the proof. To equip fathers, bring hope to mothers, and inspire children. Beleaf in Fatherhood has inspired fathers around the world and brought a larger lens to Beleaf’s spiritual journey to becoming a good father, as he has appeared in the DADs movie directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, on Oprah, and most recently on Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote experience. Beleaf’s hope for his music is that it will bring families together and inspire men to be better fathers to their children.
