Saveria Margiola

Since I was a kid, I have been quietly murmuring melodies, melodies of well-known songs or melodies that I come up with at that moment. I do it unconsciously when I walk or when I drive, I sing wherever my soul takes me. This what I do when I take the stage, I speak through the songs. It is my different but so essential way to communicate and share with my friends - listeners, our reflections, our joys and sorrows, to empty ourselves from every emotion, to take strength from each other, to be loved. My first musical steps were next to great artists who helped me find my own way and so in recent years I have been touring all over Greece with my collaborators, my second family, giving my own performances, in which I have the space and time I need for this sharing. I have released three albums and I have a fondness for my second album, "Alisahni" because it represents a period of great personal change and people loved it very much and singled out the first song of this album "Se poia Thalassa armenizeis” which gave me and still gives me great joy. Recently, a new song was released, a gift from my dear friend Thodoris Kotonias entitled "Poios" that talks about the inner struggle between the selves that we hide inside us. I vote for love, self-confidence, and plenty of crazy as it helps us stay kids at heart!
