Biography & Metadata

CLMD An architect of sound. A curator of emotion. A global voice with Nordic roots. CLMD is the moniker of Martin Danielle, a platinum-selling producer, DJ, and creative force who has spent over a decade shaping the contours of modern electronic music. With more than a billion streams, global radio hits, and performances across continents, CLMD has built one of Norway’s most impactful international music careers. Once signed to Sony Music and Universal, he now operates fully independently. His upcoming album ¨På Diskoteket¨ reimagines vintage Norwegian disco through the lens of French house, space disco, ambient textures, and melancholic club euphoria. It’s a nostalgic, cinematic, and danceable statement of artistic freedom. Despite his accolades, from 14× platinum singles to remix work for Bruno Mars, Tove Lo, and Black Eyed Peas, it’s on the dance floor CLMD truly reveals his essence. His sets aren’t just performances, they’re immersive experiences designed to move both body and mind. CLMD has left his imprint across the creative industries. As a former mentor on The Voice, a co-founder of the music-tech startup Centaurify, and now head of his own imprints Upnorth Recordings, and 1999 Records, he has continuously expanded the definition of what an artist can be. He doesn’t chase trends. He builds worlds. And invites you to get lost in them.
