Biography & Metadata

From Montréal and Stockholm, Voidchaser is a progressive metal band formed in 2023. In 2024, Voidchaser released their debut EP Odyssey, followed shortly after by their debut full-length album Solace, a six-part conceptual opus. The momentum continued in 2025 with the EP Trust, featuring guest appearances, notably by Jim Grey of Caligula’s Horse. That same year, the band completed their first international tour, crossing from Canada to Europe, including appearances at ProgPower Europe and the inaugural ProgStorm Festival in Montréal. In 2026, Voidchaser released Interstellar I, their second full-length album, set in a vast, lore-infused deep-space universe. With its dense, layered wall of sound and choruses as catchy as they are heavy, the album draws on influences such as Devin Townsend and Dream Theater and features guest appearances by Charlie Griffiths (ex-Haken) and Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus). Interstellar I stands as the band's most ambitious and fully realized work to date. Voidchaser are currently working on Interstellar II, set for release in 2027, while preparing for their second international tour.
