Embodying his alias, spüke coasts on the edge of the supernatural and the ethereal, bouncing from hard-hitting house to his signature wavy melodics. Whether he’s headlining shows in his local scene or supporting high-profile artists including Louis The Child, Odd Mob, AlunaGeorge, Baby Keem, Tchami, Wuki, Deorro, Tony Romera, AC Slater, Manila Killa and Kaleena Zanders across the country, the California Central Valley-based producer and DJ always aims to shine the spotlight on dance music and underrepresented artists. spüke’s own productions are just as unpredictably spirited as his DJ sets. His 2020 hit “Emanate” is closing in on 6 million streams, securing him diverse signings with other electronic tastemaker labels including LA-based Jadu Dala, Snakehips Never Worry Records, Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats, and Don Diablo’s Hexagon. Dancing Astronaut has lauded spüke’s originals with “grit and unbridled energy.” EDM.com praises spüke, saying the beatsmith “masterfully brings together heavenly ambiances and thumping kicks for a playful and uplifting result.”
