Biography & Metadata

EBlo is the creation of English ambient producer and visual artist Stephen Holmes who is based in Malmö, Sweden, crafting richly textured soundscapes that blur music, emotion, and storytelling. Rising from Malmö’s creative underground, he’s known for building immersive sonic worlds that feel cinematic. He has released music on independent labels including Pegdoll (UK), Daydreamers (Belgium), where his "Stories of Tall Places" EP with Hajime Nakamura appeared, Mare Nostrum Label (France), Imaginary North (Canada), and Silent Sonic Records (Sweden). Starting out over a decade ago experimenting with loops and layers, EBlo found his voice in ambient music — a space for atmosphere, depth, and introspection beyond the beat. His early releases fused neo-classical textures with evocative atmospheres, laying the foundation for a sound that’s both intimate and expansive. Across solo works, collaborations, and compilations, EBlo creates reflective spaces where sound becomes landscape. Live, he transforms venues into immersive audio-visual environments — elevating ambient music into a full sensory experience.
