Blue Rose

Blue Rose is a six-piece retro country rock band from Chicago, blending delicate yet powerful vocals with edgy guitar riffs, introspective lyrics, and ethereal textures. Fronted by Jori Rose Griffith, the band pairs her voice with a gritty, roots rock backbone, their range extending from classic rock 'n' roll to modern folk. The band formed in 2023 when Griffith met lead guitarist Marcus Gebauer by chance. Today, the two lead Blue Rose together, co-writing the songs and steering the band's creative direction. Their debut album, Blue Moon (May 2025), was produced by Noam Wallenberg (Vulfpeck, Mac Miller) and debuted on the CDX Americana chart, marking the band’s arrival on the national Americana scene. Blue Rose is currently working with Grammy-nominated producer Rick Barnes recording their second album. New singles releasing through 2026, with a full album following in 2027. Lineup: Jori Rose Griffith (vocals/guitar), Marcus Gebauer (lead guitar), Mike Gruber (keys), Nicholas Kapche (bass), Mike DelPrincipe (drums), Sean Shiel (steel guitar).
