Biography & Metadata
Elan Rhys is a singer and songwriter from Caernarfon, Wales. She is one-third of folk-pop group Plu along with her siblings Marged Rhys and Gwilym Bowen Rhys, with four albums released since 2012, receiving multiple Welsh Music Prize and Welsh album of the Year nominations. She collaborated with Carwyn Ellis to release Bendith, whose self-titled album won the Welsh Music Prize in 2017. She is a member of Rio 18, the vibrant international musical collective "birthed in Brazil and cultivated in Cymru". Her voice can also be heard on recent releases by Dafydd Owain, Tecwyn Ifan and Ciwb
