Akiva Hammond

Akiva Hammond is one of Jewish music’s brightest young stars—a talented music producer in the studio, and an electrifying, captivating DJ on stage. From a young age, he would groove to music as a toddler and later picked up guitar in 4th grade. At 17, he discovered piano and soon began experimenting with live looping before diving fully into music production—spending countless hours honing his craft. His first big break came with his official remix of Welcome Back- (Akiva Hammond Remix) for Waterbury Mesivta, followed soon after by his remix of Stranger-Akiva Hammond Remix, both of which have been streamed widely. Shortly thereafter, came his involvement with Chananya Begun’s YTI organization, where he connected with DJ Kraz. Together, they released Good Vibe and the psy-trance anthem Od Avinu Chai, which received support from world-class DJs including Blastoyz and was played in venues worldwide on Purim. More recently, his version of The Chevra’s Y’HEY became a fan favorite, and his latest release ESA EINAI—a collaboration with Dovid Rotberg and Werntatty—reached 25,000 streams in its first three weeks. With over a million Spotify streams and electrifying live performances, Akiva continues to push the boundaries of Jewish EDM, building a global audience and a reputation as one of the scene’s most dynamic artists.
