Europe formed in Upplands Väsby in 1979 and have secured a place among the greats of modern rock music.They first achieved a major breakthrough in ‘82 by winning the televised Rock-SM(Swedish Rock Championships),becoming a bigger success than the competition itself. Europe rose to global fame in 1986 with the 3rd album The Final Countdown, a worldwide phenomena selling more than 15 million copies. The title track reached #1 in 25 countries. Since their formation, Europe have released 11 studio albums and sold over 25 million albums worldwide. Following a hiatus in the ‘90s and a reunion in 2003, Europe entered a powerful creative resurgence. Albums including Last Look at Eden,Bag of Bones,War of Kings & Walk The Earth, winner of the 2018 Grammis Award(Best Hard Rock/Metal), re-established the band as a formidable contemporary rock force. That evolution continues with Come This Madness, for release on Sep 25th on Silver Lining Music.Their 12th studio album and first in 9 years, is their most powerful, uncompromising statement to date, channelling tension, truth and raw energy into a record that is both deeply personal and globally resonant.Led by racks such as ‘One On One’,built on driving bass riff and soaring melodies, the album blends Europe’s classic sound with a fresh, modern energy.
