Preyah

Born in Sofia, the songstress comes from a mixed marriage, hailing from the Nigerian state of Edo on her late father’s side. After making her TV debut at age 16 as part of X Factor Bulgaria, and later reaching the semi-finals of the inaugural season of Music Academy, Preyah was offered a contract with Monte Music – one of Bulgaria’s two major pop labels, at the time. Results were quick to follow, with Preyah releasing her debut single ”Malkite Neshta” in 2014. The song gained immediate traction on Bulgarian radio. It ended up as the 4th most played track and highest-ranking Bulgarian entry in the Prophon Radio Airplay Top 10 for the year, ahead of massive chart-toppers such as Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse”. In 2019 Preyah took the decision to become an independent artist and released her debut album. The record spreads from the sultry seduction of @Lo6 Navik to the empowering vulnerability of @Hope U Like. In 2021, Preyah's second independent release came to life. The Sophomore release delivers golden era of contemporary R&B vibes, taking us back to the late 90’s – early 00’s, while still being firmly gazed into the future. It allures into a tale of transformation and self-improvement, while helps one appreciate his own, unique story and pathway. In May 2026 Preyah released her third studio album LAVA - a fusion between afropop and balkan vibes, the fusion she herself represents. Two different cultures and sonic universes, coming together to excite all the senses.
