Oltrefuturo

Oltrefuturo (aka Valerio Ebert) is a producer, DJ, and sound engineer from a trancepelagic hub along the mystical Adriatic coast. His musical craft revolves around sculpting whimsical and psychedelic soundscapes, blending lento grooves with freeform, nontempo rhythms. From "Trance-A-Lento" to expansive auditory landscapes, Oltrefuturo’s music has found its way onto labels like Multi Culti, Trule, Warning, Duro, and more, while also receiving airplay on platforms such as BBC Radio, NTS, Rinse FM, and other global tastemaker stations. Oltrefuturo is part of the Trance-A-Lento movement (wisely crafted and started by the mind of Thomas Von Party), an experimental approach to music where 45 RPM vinyl records are intentionally played at 33 RPM. This technique slows down pitch and tempo, uncovering hidden frequencies and textures within the music, breathing new life into tracks that exist beyond their original intent. This approach embodies Oltrefuturo’s ethos of discovery and transformation, crafting an entirely new auditory experience from familiar sounds. He frequently collaborates (and occasionally shares some psychedelics) with the Canadian mescalero-DJ and Multi Culti founder Thomas Von Party, with whom he forms the duo Exponential State. He also partners with A-Tweed, with whom he co-runs Atol Diskz, and with Treasure Island (together they're Future Island)
