Joseph Royal

Joseph Royal is a Ghanaian-Canadian artist, writer, and producer who brings the African soul to Afro House and Afro Latin music. His catalog spans collaborations with Colombian Afro House pioneer Massianello, Ibiza resident DJ Eli Rojas, producers Flagrant Drvms, David Eusse, and Delafoxx, Nigerian artist Lekkybanky, production collective Breakfast N Vegas, and many more artists from around the world. Growing up in Canada with Ghanaian roots, Joseph was shaped by two worlds at once. The culture, the traditions, and the music of Ghana at home, and the Hip Hop, Dancehall, Pop, and R&B that filled the streets of Toronto. That combination is what makes his sound hard to put in a box, and exactly why artists across so many different genres trust him as a writer and co-producer. Off the mic he is just as active behind the scenes, contributing to records across Afrobeats, Dancehall, Pop, and many more genres for artists across global markets.
