"Whilst a young boy, and after a move from the bright lights of New York to the metropolis of the middle east Abu Dhabi, Kurran first picked up and self taught himself guitar, and piano, much to his families approval. As he hit adolescence, he started to shape his craft in punk bands, and begun picking up the bass guitar and using his vocal cords in tandem. At 21, Kurran ventured to the UK, signing his first major record deal and immersing himself in production and songwriting, collaborating with notable names like Stephen Street (The Smiths, The Cranberries and Blur) and Jim Abbiss (Editors, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian). Despite achieving over 4 million streams and settling in Liverpool, life threw him a curveball when cancer struck for the second time, compounded by heartbreak. In search of healing and spiritual growth, Kurran embarked on a transformative journey to India, finding inspiration in Punjab and delving deep into Vipassana meditation. His trusty guitar became his companion as he poured his heart into his most personal work yet, culminating in the creation of an album rich with soulful introspection. Returning home, Kurran poured his experiences into his home studio, crafting his debut solo record over two years. Now, with the support of indie label XYZ123, Kurran emerges, poised to captivate audiences with his raw emotion and compelling storytelling.
