Mark Schirmacher

Mark Schirmacher is an American singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. His reflective songwriting celebrates love, relationships, and the complexities of the human heart. With guitar, harmonica, and poetically spun lyrics, his music weaves Folk, Blues, and Indie influences to create lasting impressions of our fragile and beautiful world. Fit with a hearty Midwestern work ethic (born in Minnesota in the 70’s), he has invested in a lifetime of songwriting, collaboration, and lyric-writing. Guided by a deep sense that creativity is sacred and can usher in greater understanding of one another, Mark sees music as a vessel to draw parallels between our seemingly disparate backgrounds, mindsets, and beliefs. He also is wholly committed to honoring the “spark of creation,” leading to the invention of Low Key Trampoline, an Ambient / Folk / Lofi musical project which allows the freedom of instrumental compositions that occupy the diverse “Lofi” space. Providing bass, mandolin, synth, electric guitar, and production help to projects, he also takes time to self-produce solo albums that veer into Minimal Ambient, Drone, and Experimental Lofi. “Music should be of the moment, an outward transmission from our hearts, a decisive reflection of our internal landscape” Mark can be seen playing live in coffee shops, record stores, and backyard parties in his home state of Minnesota.
