MC Sindbad

MC Sindbad is an Arabic hip-hop artist based in Hamburg, Germany, whose music reflects a life shaped by movement, reflection, and resistance. He began his musical journey in Amman, Jordan, in 2012, using rap as a medium to document his experiences, beliefs, and observations of the world around him. Rooted in storytelling, rap culture, and political consciousness, MC Sindbad blends personal narratives with socially conscious lyricism. Through his rap, he channels the anger, frustration, and resilience of an entire Arab generation, transforming collective pain into powerful expression. His artist name mirrors his path—like Sindbad, he is constantly on a journey through life, cultures, and ideas, shaped by travel and transformation. His music knows no human borders, transcending geography, language, and identity. In 2021, he released his debut album 3alami / My World, a project that bridges Arabic rap with German hip-hop influences. By combining languages, cultures, and perspectives, MC Sindbad creates a distinct sound that connects diasporic experiences with raw lyrical honesty. He has collaborated with several German rappers and, in 2023, released Reise رحله (Journey of a Legend) alongside German rap legend Lakmann. The project explores themes of escape, migration, and survival. MC Sindbad has performed across the Arab world and Germany, establishing himself as a cross-cultural voice in contemporary hip-hop.
