RO1

RO1 is the solo project of Australian keyboardist and producer Rohan Sharma. Renowned for his technical prowess on the keyboard and his unique style of synth driven progressive metal, RO1’s compositions push the limits of what’s possible on keys with djenty riffs and shreddy solos. Along with his solo music, he plays keyboard in the project - I Built The Sky and collaborates with musicians around the world as a session artist. His 2025 release, Sunder, is his most ambitious work to date. Featuring Rohan Stevenson (I Built The Sky) and Toby Peterson-Stewart (The Omnific, I Built The Sky), the album takes the idea of leading with synths in progressive metal to a whole new level.
