Lorenzo Sevn Altieri alias SEVN, a.k.a. MAZEYTRAP, is a British-Italian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who first made his mark on global stages anchoring the rhythm section as the touring drummer for international pop icon Alexia. Constantly expanding his creative horizons, SEVN seamlessly blends Pop, Electronic, and Avant-Garde music as an innovative composer and sound designer. His multidisciplinary vision has been showcased at prestigious contemporary art platforms, including the Venice Biennale and the New York Biennale. After winning Italy’s acclaimed MEI Award, he relocated to London, making an immediate impact with his poignant Brexit-awareness anthem, Stars (We Are All Made Of). In 2021, drawing from years of experience as a ghostwriter, he debuted his futuristic alter ego, MĂZĒYTRAP. The project launched with the captivating sonic world of Black Diamond, paving the way for his experimental concept album, Multiverse, a work that intricately weaves together electronic foundations with classical nuances and complex textures of jazz / progressive rock.
