Tethra

Tethra is a metalcore band originating in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA. The band was born from the ashes of a 7-year journey in the former project Unparalleled Height. After years of grinding, evolving, and redefining their sound, the band emerged in 2019 with a new vision, a sharper edge, and a relentless drive to carve their own path. Blending crushing riffs, cinematic atmospheres, and emotionally charged lyrics, the four-piece—David Kelly (vocals), CJ Masciantonio (guitar), Marshall Boy (guitar), and Justin Welling (drums)—brings raw intensity and depth. Lyrically, Tethra dives into the full spectrum of human experience—loss, resilience, anger, rebirth—with the goal of creating a mirror for those fighting their own battles. Tethra stands for those who refuse to give in keep showing up. Even when the world tries to break them. This is more than music. This is a movement.
