Biography & Metadata

From the heart of North Carolina, Robert Jones — known through the creative world of Octocat Neo Star — turned pain, survival, music, and hope into a mission bigger than himself. What started as late nights learning technology, music, and life through struggle became a vision to bring people together instead of dividing them. Through the Children of World Hope project, Robert believes every person deserves a chance to heal, learn, create, and build a future no matter where they come from. The song “Diamond in the Rough” represents that journey. It’s about finding value in yourself even when life leaves scars behind. A diamond is formed under pressure, and the song speaks for people who felt unseen, broken, or forgotten but kept going anyway. The music project blends emotion, storytelling, electronic sound, soul, and hope into something meant to inspire others to keep moving forward. Octocat Neo Star and Children of World Hope are building toward community centers where people can come together safely to learn music, business, technology, financial literacy, art, and entrepreneurship. The vision is to create real public resources: recording spaces, workshops, mentorship, community events, and classes that help people build careers and confidence. The mission is simple — unite communities through creativity, education, love, and opportunity while helping the next generation discover their own voice and purpose.
