Osamu Fukuzawa

A keyboardist and composer from Fukuoka, currently based in Tokyo, Osamu Fukuzawa is a versatile artist whose work ranges from arrangements to production. In 2023, he released the collaborative album Afterimage with re:plus—one of the pioneers of Japan’s Jazzy Hip-Hop and Lo-Fi Beats scene—on the German label Stereofox. He also co-produced ALL YOUR HEART, an album by Motoaki Yasutake featuring musicians from four countries. Additionally, he joined the indie unit YOHLU on their release tour across seven cities in Asia. On February 28, 2024, he released his debut solo album 0-1, which received critical acclaim in Japan. Distributed nationwide on CD, it was chosen as a personal favorite in annual best-of lists by record store buyers. In addition to composing for domestic artists, Osamu actively performs and produces music both in Japan and abroad. In addition to providing music for domestic artists, in 2025 he supported the Japan tour of Amsterdam-based singer JELISA and performed a solo opening act for the Tokyo show of the multi-Grammy-winning American instrumental band Snarky Puppy. He continues to perform and produce music both in Japan and internationally.
