Biography & Metadata

The dreamily named Soul Whirling Somewhere is the musical voice of Michael Plaster. Michael's intensely romantic songs ebb and flow as if under water, in slow motion. Mixing electronics and acoustic guitar with his own mournful, plaintive voice, Soul Whirling Somewhere's music is both soothing and quietly haunting. Upon signing to the Projekt label, Soul Whirling Somewhere debuted in 1993 with the bleak Eating the Sea, followed in 1995 by Everyone Will Eventually Leave You, in 1997 with the EP Pyewackit, and the two-disc Hope Was in 1998. The finale Please Sennd Help was released in 2001. yttriphie is Michael's new electronic/ambient project: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1iNqlv368Qe00kkU5kkT0T
