Formed in early 2002, VALOR are a Greek melodic power metal band built on galloping riffs, soaring melodies and epic dynamics. Founded by guitarist Spyros Soldatos, bassist Chris Remoundos and vocalist Vaggelis Krouskas, the band solidified its core over the years—welcoming drummer Thodoris Andritsos (2003) and, since 2008, expanding into a 6‑member lineup with Vasilis Kourkoutas (guitars) and Thanasis Lois (keyboards). A key part of VALOR’s identity is also their long‑time digital artist Nick Deligaris—the “7th member”—whose artwork has shaped the visual world of every release. VALOR’s journey began with the self‑financed EP The Nameless One (2004), followed by the debut full‑length Destiny’s Path (2008). In 2013 they joined Cyprus label Pitch Black Records, releasing The Yonder Answer and bringing their sound to a wider international audience. The label partnership continued with the limited 7” single The Crown and the King (2015) and the third album Arrogance: The Fall (2017), showcasing a more aggressive edge while keeping their signature blend of melody, power and epic atmosphere. Now in 2026, VALOR are entering their next chapter—with new material on the horizon and the same uncompromising drive that has defined them from day one.
