Biography & Metadata

Andrea Pizzo and the Purple Mice create cinematic art pop where science, imagination, and melody converge. Blending art pop, orchestral textures, electronic atmospheres, and narrative songwriting, the project draws inspiration from technology, philosophy, and science fiction, moving between emotional space-opera moods and ironic, high-voltage storytelling. Their latest single, Come Out Lazarus 3 – I Was The Universe (July 2026), concludes a near-death saga within the conceptual cycle People Zero. A luminous meditation on return, unity, and transcendence — with Beatles-like melodic clarity, a Mike Oldfield undertow, and an extreme Prince-style falsetto from Roberto Tiranti as its emotional climax. EARMILK called it "a profound vision of unity and return" and "a cinematic listening experience," while KIMU hailed it as a "transcendent opus." Earlier chapters were praised across the independent press: the 2025 album Transhumanity received a 7/10 from Mystic Sons, and the We Are All Bots EP was featured on The Indie Grid, Illustrate Magazine, Stereo Stickman, and Extravafrench, among others. With Andrea Pizzo and the Purple Mice, music becomes narrative: stories of science, myth, and imagination transformed into soundscapes that feel like small sci-fi movies — emotional, curious, and defiantly melodic.
