Mirella Costa

Mirella Costa is a Brazilian born, NY-Sao Paulo based singer. Already familiarized with performing at New York and Boston’s renown jazz venues, Mirella actually started her career in Brazil singing and writing gospel songs. In 2016, her first studio album entitled “Minha Arca” won the "Louvemos ao Senhor" award for New Gospel Artist in her home country, but that was only the beginning. Soon after, having been awarded to be the first Brazilian singer with a full ride scholarship by the Latin Grammy foundation, Mirella went on to earn her Bachelors at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music. She has now performed alongside dozens of world class artists and musicians, such as Kurt Elling, Gretchen Parlato, Esperanza Spalding, Oscar Stagnaro, Toninho Horta, Allain Mallet, Chico Pinheiro, Sammy Figueroa, Armando Manzanero, Gilson Schchnik, Mark Walker, and many more. Music, faith and powerhouse vocals. A love for world culture with latin roots. Contemporary with an old soul.
