Brazilian singer-songwriter Sabrina Malheiros is regarded as one of the pioneers of Nu-Bossa, blending Brazilian rhythms with jazz, soul and contemporary electronic textures. Her classic 2005 album Equilibria became a landmark release within the genre, helping introduce a new generation to the modern Brazilian sound. Often mentioned alongside artists such as Azymuth , Marcos Valle, Tania Maria , Sérgio Mendes, Astrud Gilberto, Toco, Rosalia De Souza and Sabrina’s music moves effortlessly between acoustic sophistication, jazz-infused grooves and timeless Brazilian songwriting.
