Wavy James

Wavy James is an emerging R&B and trap soul artist from Baltimore, Maryland, blending moody melodies, introspective songwriting and modern hip hop influence. Inspired by artists like Drake, Bryson Tiller and PARTYNEXTDOOR, his music lives in the space between vulnerability and late night atmosphere. He began creating music out of a desire to bring emotion back to R&B, feeling that much of the genre had lost the depth and honesty that once defined it. Through soulful vocals, reflective lyrics and immersive production, Wavy James crafts records that capture the tension, intimacy and realism of modern relationships. With releases like Jasmyn Interlude, he continues building a sound rooted in feeling, authenticity and the evolving landscape of trap soul.
