Sonny Zamolo

Sonny Zamolo brings groove, soul and a cosmopolitan sense of style to house music. In 2007, he caught the ear of BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, winning Bedroom Bedlam under his first alias, Nonoms Light, a few months before Avicii. Sets at some of Paris’s leading clubs followed. He later moved to Asia, where ten years in China, with Shanghai at the heart of it, opened his world to new sounds, places and perspectives. A life between Europe and Asia has shaped a taste that moves naturally between club culture, cinema and the art of living well. His records carry that character: elegant, full of movement, with the depth of a rich musical culture and the immediacy of pleasure. He gravitates towards things made with care, finding inspiration as readily in a film or a place as in a record. Curiosity keeps that world expanding; creating and sharing are his ways of inviting others into it.
