Child

The young Swiss artist Child is bluntly approachable, cheeky, and dreamy. With her second EP, “Human,” she delves deeper into the world of pop, exploring the tensions and ambivalences of being human while remaining true to her melancholic lightness. With a palette of smooth beats, comforting synths, and catchy vocals, Child takes you into a colorful yet thoughtful world. In November 2021, Child released her debut EP, the second song of which, “Draw the Line,” was named “Song of the Day” by Radio SRF3 and has been playing on the radio ever since. She had her record release in 2022 with full band but usually performs her shows as a duo. In the meantime, she has collaborated with other artists and did a support show for Asgéir (at Mühle Hunziken) and Shem Thomas. In August 2023, the artist received the «Music Loft Award» for Chess and Stories, two songs that deal with death and loss. Her most recent success came in July 2025 when “Something New” was chosen as the “All For One” pick by MX3 and was played by all four Swiss national radio stations.
