London-born & Sydney-based, Clio is the disco diva alter ego of recording artist Danielle Bellas. After a number of releases, working with the likes of Jud Mahoney (Michael Jackson, Brandy), Rishi Rich (Jay Sean, Britney Spears) &Jon Reichardt (Bliss & Eso, Hilltop Hoods), Bellas wanted to move towards a new sound. Clio’s debut single "Deeper in My Love”, including a remix by disco powerhouse Dr Packer, was released in June 2022 to rave reviews from DJs & industry insiders in Australia, the UK & Ibiza. It hit the Top 20 Aria Club Chart & climbed to #9 in the UK Music Week Upfront Club Chart. Dr Packer came on board once again to remix Clio’s second single, the feel-good disco infused party anthem, “We Got Music”. The music video celebrated individuality and inclusivity, featuring a diverse array of members of the queer community including Hannah Conda [RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under (season 2) & UK vs the World (season 2)] & trailblazing trans DJ Victoria Anthony. Her third single “Golden Glow” was another modern disco masterpiece & a remix by Perth-based DJ Ben Renna saw Clio back in the Top 20 Aria Club Chart. Clio once again brings the golden age of disco into the modern era with her fourth single, “Love Connection”. With its sleek production, signature sultry vocals & undeniable energy, this track is a celebration of everything that makes disco & pop irresistible. It channels the energy of dance floor queens like Kylie & Dua Lipa, with all the elements of a hit.
