Berkay Altunyay

Born in 1999, Ankara; Berkay was already blended with arts and music because of his family’s already established eager interest. When he was just 2-3 years old, he would try to imitate his mother’s singing, especially the traditional Turkish tunes. He had a growing interest with music as the years past by. With his first instruments “darbuka” and “guitar”, he started discovering different rhythmical and harmonic patterns, thus starting to create his own style. At ages 16-17, he started to improve his vocal techniques and had positive feedbacks from his environment. Berkay released his first single “Beni Bi' Gör Artık” when he was 19 years old, and later he has released his most-streamed song ‘’ben ne anladım bu işten.’’, currently havıng 4 Million Spotify streams only. He received more compliments than he had envisioned so he started to write and release more music. With his own musical style that consist nearly most of the genres, Berkay loves to blend new styles and come up with a unique hybrid style. The songs he has released until now was more emotional type songs but what he aims for the future, holds totally different styles. His utmost desire is to make his own music style a signature one that is unique for himself.
