Jimmy & Scots Folk Band

Jimmy & Scots Folk Band (founded in 2013): was born from the shared passion of two friends during a trip to Dublin. The project aims to blend Celtic-inspired folk through original folk-rock arrangements of traditional and original songs, creating a distinctive sound shaped by the individual musical influences of each band member. Over the years, the band has performed at prestigious festivals and events within the Celtic and folk scene, including the Montelago Celtic Festival, building an average of 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. In 2025, the band embarks on its first international tour, bringing its energy and traditional repertoire to several European cities. From 2019 to 2025, they released four albums, three of which under contract with the record label “Maxy Sound.” These works earned the band multiple awards at the Musica Celtica Music Awards 2023 and 2024 and led to the inclusion of “Seven Irish Nights,” “The Viking Irishman” and “Beers and Reels” in the Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin, the most important archive of Irish music in the world.
